Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech: Swissmedic approves the extension of the booster dose to all persons aged 16 years and older
After reviewing the data submitted in the last few days, Swissmedic is adapting the summary of product characteristics for the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech (Comirnaty®). This clears the way for a wider use of the booster vaccine. Particularly at-risk individuals can continue to receive booster vaccination from the age of 12.
