Covid-19: Adaptation of the Covid certificates to the EU
At its meeting on 27 April 2022, the Federal Council decided that Covid certificates for convalescents can in future also be issued on the basis of a positive rapid antigen test. These certificates are valid for 180 days and are internationally recognized. They can be issued retroactively for positive test results from 1 October 2021. The Ordinance on Certificates to Prove Covid-19 Vaccination, Recovery or a Test Result (Covid-19 Certificates Ordinance) will be adapted to the EU regulations accordingly. The amendment will enter into force on 2 May 2022.
