Update on the replacement of the register of medical professions (MedReg)
As previously announced by Swissmedic, the medical professions register, including the establishment module, will be replaced by the new platform for health professions (HealthReg). As already informed in mid-June, the work on the new platform requires more time to provide a system that functions as optimally as possible. For this reason, the platform cannot be launched on 15 August 2022 as planned. A new date for going live will be communicated as soon as possible. Until then, the existing systems will continue to operate normally.
