Tightening up on drug supply: The National Economic Supply is considering further measures
In recent weeks, the already tense drug supply situation has further worsened and reached the outpatient sector. The Federal Council was informed in its meeting of 1 February 2023 that the Federal Office for National Economic Supply (FONES) therefore now classifies the situation in the "specialist area of therapeutic products" as problematic. The FONES is examining short-term measures together with other federal agencies in a task force. In addition, the projects already underway to ensure long-term security of supply will be continued.
