Tariff negotiations for analysis list: Federal Council adopts Dispatch
The Swiss Parliament has instructed the Federal Council to adjust the tariff setting for laboratory analyses at the expense of the compulsory health insurance (Obligatorische Krankenpflegeversicherung, OKP). In future, the tariffs for laboratory analyses shall no longer be set by the Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA) but negotiated between the tariff partners. In order to comply with Parliament's mandate, the Federal Council adopted the Dispatch on the amendment of the Swiss Federal Law on Health Insurance (Bundesgesetz über die Krankenversicherung, KVG) at its meeting on 1 May 2024.
