Swissmedic: Change of Name from «Public Summary SwissPAR» to «Summary Report on Authorisation»
Swissmedic announced the change of the name of the “Public Summary SwissPAR” to the “Summary Report on Authorisation”. This name change is part of the adjustments made to the revised therapeutic products legislation, which came into effect on 1 January 2019. The content of the Summary Report on Authorisation remains unchanged and will continue to present Swissmedic's authorisation decisions in a manner that is comprehensible and transparent to the wider public.
The guidance document SwissPAR (document link) has been revised accordingly and will enter into force on 1 October 2024.
