FOPH: Revised Manual on the List of Pharmaceutical Specialties (Handbuch betreffend die Spezialitätenliste, SL-Handbuch)
The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) has published a comprehensively revised version of the Manual on the List of Pharmaceutical Specialties (SL Manual), effective 1 January 2025. The previous edition was published in 2017. The new version represents a complete overhaul, incorporating numerous adjustments and updates.
The SL Manual constitutes an administrative ordinance that aims to guarantee uniform and proportionate administrative practice while preventing arbitrary or unequal treatment. It is intended as a working tool for the FOPH, marketing authorization holders of medicinal products, regulatory authorities, and professional associations.
