Swissmedic: Publication of report on authorisations of complementary and herbal medicinal products
The complementary and herbal medicines (CHM) Division has published a report with an overview of the newly authorised complementary and herbal medicinal products in 2024. The report illustrates trends in the numbers of medicinal products authorised in each school of therapy. It also includes the application for orphan drug status which was approved for the first time in the CHM Division for the treatment of the rare disease “epidermolysis bullosa”.
