Swissmedic: Launch of Strategic Plan Access Consortium 2025 – 2028
The Access Consortium has launched its strategic plan for regulatory cooperation. Its focus remains on enhancing cooperation between member countries to streamline procedures and improve access to safe and effective medicines. The plan is aimed to create an environment benefitting patients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies. The Access Consortium is a collaborative initiative of like-minded, medium-sized regulatory authorities between Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), Health Canada (HC), Singapore's Health Sciences Authority (HSA), the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products (Swissmedic) of Switzerland and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) of the United Kingdom.
