Swissmedic: Swissmedic and Swedish Medical Products Agency sign agreement on information exchange
Ann Lindberg, Director-General of the Swedish Medical Products Agency (MPA), and Raimund Bruhin, Executive Director of Swissmedic, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), regarding the formal framework for closer cooperation on regulatory issues associated with medicinal products and medical devices.
This agreement is part of a long-term strategy to extend cooperation with international regulatory networks and partner authorities. The MoU will allow the expansion of information sharing and creation of a foundation for greater cooperation on multilateral initiatives.
