FOPH: Vaccinations exempt from the deductible from 1 January 2026
The Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) has announced various amendments to the Ordinance on Healthcare Benefits (Krankenpflege-Leistungsverordnung, KLV), which will enter into force on 1 July 2025. The amendments include the expansion of the coverage of costs for early detection of colon cancer and the reduction of the administrative burden on chronically ill patients. Additionally, all vaccinations listed in Art. 12a KLV will be exempt from the deductible as of 1 January 2026.
