FOPH: Consultation of amendment of Regulations under the Transplantation Act
At its meeting on 20 June 2025, the Federal Council has opened the consultation procedure on the Regulations under the Transplantation Act. He is introducing a vigilance system, improving security for patients. The new system includes a reporting requirement for serious adverse events in organ and tissue transplantations. For that, a new electronic system should be set up by 2027. The amendment further includes new licensing requirements and a reference to the guidelines on the determination of death.
