FOPH: Update of pandemic plan
The Federal Government has updated its national pandemic plan, considering the experience and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. The updated plan now includes topics such as dealing with the social and economic consequences of a pandemic. Additionally, a digital platform was created to give stakeholders quick and easy access to the plan.
The plan describes specific activities in the areas of surveillance, infection control, healthcare, and vaccination. Additionally, checklists, action plans and recommendations for action provide assistance to the federal, cantonal and municipal governments. It also describes the division of tasks between these different levels of government.
