Swissmedic: Updated information sheet on systems and procedure packs
Swissmedic has published an updated information sheet regarding systems and procedure packs. It outlines the obligations for the assembly and labelling of systems and procedure packs as well as the associated obligations of economic operators in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
The Medical Devices Ordinance (MedDO) and the Ordinance on In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices (IvDO) set out the requirements and responsibilities for operators within the medical supply chain. The information sheet on systems and procedure packs specifies these requirements, focusing on systems and procedure packs that necessarily contain at least one medicinal product.
