Swissmedic: Consultation on Guideline regarding Patient Preference Studies
Swissmedic has opened a public consultation on Guideline E22 General Considerations for Patient Preference Studies of the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) with comments invited by 12 April 2026. The guideline provides high-level principles and practical guidance on designing and conducting patient preference studies (PPS) to integrate patient perspectives into pharmaceutical development and benefit-risk assessments. Stakeholders can submit comments via the specified ICH feedback form.
