Swissmedic: Deadline for Mandatory Device Registration on swissdamed
The registration of devices, systems, and procedure packs will become mandatory in swissdamed from 1 July 2026, with a transition period until 31 December 2026. This follows the EU, where registration in EUDAMED will be required from 28 May 2026, with a transition period until 27 November 2026. Economic operators are advised to plan ahead to ensure timely registration of their products in line with these deadlines.
